Tahini Chocolate

Recently I have tried different types of chocolate or chocolate cremes. One of the variations is with tahini as I always have this in the kitchen tried different proportions and finally found the correct ratios.

Healthy substitute of a chocolate for when you have a craving for chocolate.



  • 250 ml tahini
  • 3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. roasted and milled pumpkin seeds

  • In a blender place all ingredients and mix very well for a few minutes until all ingredients have blended very well.
  • The end result it really depends of the cocoa quality and tahini. It doesn’t need to be expensive – mine is from Aldi and taste better than some other more expensive brands.
  • You can use it with pancakes or eat it just like this – it wouldn’t last for a long time 🙂

    Way healthier than the standard chocolate spreads, which are often loaded with more sugar than chocolate.
