Homemade Regular Mayo

Happy Sunday Everyone,

I always look for a healthy alternative to a meal or to change something in a recipe, but today I decided to try a traditional recipe with all the normal ingredients 🙂

And here we have Mayo, or my attempt to make homemade regular mayo.

Servings: 200ml.
Time to Prepare: 5 min

Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 150 ml oil of your choice
  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 tbsp. salt
How TO:
  1. In a blender, glass, or sor a deep container where you can use a passator/blender, place all ingredients.
  2. Blend for 2 -3 minutes or until you receive a thick consistency.
  3. And now you have homemade mayo.
  4. Enjoy with salads, veggies, or sandwiches.

Note: This mayonnaise may be slightly runnier than the regular one, depending on the type of oil used. I used grapeseed oil, and I received more like a thick sauce rather than the store-bought consistency.

Nevertheless, making it at home is tastier than the one you will buy 🙂
