Happy Friday 🙂

A few weeks ago, I had some old bread slices, and I remembered that when I was little, my mum used to make croutons, so instead of throwing them away, I made some croutons.

They were quite tasty and didn’t last for too long.

Servings: 200 (depending on the bread slices)
Time to Prepare: 5 min
Time to Cook: 10min

Pieces of Bread cut into cubes
Ingredients:
  • 5 slices of sourdough bread
  • 3-5 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. black paper
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. dry basil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
Optional:
  • 1tsp. blackseeds oil
  • 2-3 tbsp. parmesan

How To:
  1. Cut the slices of bread into medium cubes.
  2. In a baking tray, spread the bread pieces.
  3. Add the spices and oils and mix very well.
  4. Spread the bread pieces so they are not crumpled on top of each other.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees for about 5 minutes, then mix with a spoon.
  6. Bake for another 5 to 8 minutes until golden or dark brown.
  7. An optional step is to sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons just before taking them out. parmesan cheese.
  8. Take it out and leave it to cool down.
  9. Enjoy as a snack or as a topping on soups.

It is a quick, inexpensive, and fulfilling snack!
