Happy Friday 🙂
A few weeks ago, I had some old bread slices, and I remembered that when I was little, my mum used to make croutons, so instead of throwing them away, I made some croutons.
They were quite tasty and didn’t last for too long.
Servings: 200 (depending on the bread slices)
Time to Prepare: 5 min
Time to Cook: 10min

Ingredients:
- 5 slices of sourdough bread
- 3-5 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp. black paper
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. dry basil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Optional:
- 1tsp. blackseeds oil
- 2-3 tbsp. parmesan
How To:
- Cut the slices of bread into medium cubes.
- In a baking tray, spread the bread pieces.
- Add the spices and oils and mix very well.
- Spread the bread pieces so they are not crumpled on top of each other.
- Bake at 180 degrees for about 5 minutes, then mix with a spoon.
- Bake for another 5 to 8 minutes until golden or dark brown.
- An optional step is to sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons just before taking them out. parmesan cheese.
- Take it out and leave it to cool down.
- Enjoy as a snack or as a topping on soups.
It is a quick, inexpensive, and fulfilling snack!
