Homemade Chocolates

Hello Everyone,

I hope you have a relaxing and warm holiday season 🙂

I wanted to eat some chocolates but every time I check the ingredients,(some I don’t even recognize)I always debate whether should I or should not buy them. And so, I decided to try something by myself.

Servings: 12-15
Time to Prepare:15- 20 min

Ingredients:
  • 200 gr. Dates
  • 3 tbsp. Cacao
  • 5 tbsp. Creme ( you can replace it with any plant-based milk or just water)
Garnish:
  • 3 tbsp.Coconut flakes
  • 5 tbsp. Coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp. Cacao powder

How To:
  1. In a food processor place dates, cacao, and milk.
  2. Mix until homogenious mixture.
  3. Roll into balls.
  4. In a small bowl add coconut oil and heat it on a water bath.
  5. When the oil is liquid, add the cacao. This way, you will receive dark chocolate, which will contract very well with the sweetness of the dates.
  6. Roll some of the bites into the chocolate. You will need to do this swiftly, as the coconut oil hardens qyuckly.
  7. In another small bowl add the shredded coconut and roll the bites.
  8. Leave for a few minutes and enjoy- they will not last for too long 🙂

Enjoy 🙂
