Rice with Muscles

Hello and Happy Sunday 🙂

Recently I added more muscles to my meals as a new source of protein. This recipe is from a few weeks ago but decided to cook it this week again and is so tasty and quick 🙂 A good prep meal for the week.



Ingredients:
  • 200 gr boiled brown rice
  • 200 gr muscles
  • 100 gr mushrooms
  • 1 bell peppers
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black peper
  • lemon juice
  • flax seeds
How to:
  • Cut all vegies into small pieces
  • In preheated pan with the olive oil place the vegies and keep for abt 5-7 min while while mixing from time to time.
  • Add the muscles and leave for another 10 minutes again mixing from time to time.
  • Add the boiled rice and mix well, leave for abt 3 minutes before taking it out of the stove.
  • Serve as a side dish or main dish with a bit of lemon juice on top.
  • Enjoy 🙂
